Hello everyone! I can't believe it's been a week already and I am so excited to bring you our latest blog post! As soon as I saw the stickers I knew I needed to talk about them, it's none other than Reyauca World Cup stickers! I can't find much about them online strangely but I have tried my absolute best to find information! Please take this article with a pinch of salt.
Reyauca otherwise known as Vive le Mundial are Venezuela stickers released primarily for the 2006 world cup but they had produced stickers for the 1986 world cup (at least I think it's onwards!) but information seems even more scarce for anything under the 2002 world cup.
The sticker design on the 2002 world cup sticker which was hosted by Korea and Japan the design is brilliant in my opinion with a head shot of the player such as Luis Figo with a banner design near the bottom of the sticker with the players name and national flag either side of the banner, the border of the card has the Korean and Japanese flag either side which just looks absolutely incredible!. I would absolutely adore it if this design would make a comeback obviously not in the Korea Japan style (unless they made a very similar one!).
The 2006 cards look very cool with the Germany flag swirling around the players portraits, they do look very unique and again not a style we'd probably ever see again sadly!.
I really hope you learnt a little bit more about the wonderful world of cards and stickers, it's just a shame there isn't much information out about these awesome pieces! I would love to learn about them if you have any more information on them so feel free to message or email us!.
Thank you so much for reading our little blog!.
